Belén has more than 25 years of work experience in the field of international cooperation, political dialogue and advocacy on issues related to rural development and family farming. She holds a degree in Political Science and master's degrees in Cooperation for Development and Social Research.

Since joining ESAFF he has become a key advocate for smallholder farmers, promoting sustainable agriculture, food sovereignty and market access, making ESAFF a vital voice in agricultural voices.

Elizabeth Nsimadala is a Ugandan young agripreneur and smallholder farmer. She has served as Director of Women Affairs at the Pan-African Farmers Organization, was on the UN Advisory Committee for the 2021 Food Systems Summit and has MSc in Project Planning and a BA in Social Sciences.

Kolyang is an agro-pastoralist, expert in rural and community development and and an advisor to the Economic, Social, Cultural, and Environmental Council. He is recognized for his commitment to fighting malnutrition and desertification in Chad, placing a strong emphasis on food security and nutrition.

Esther is a farmer and social development worker with decades of experience in rural development, collaborating with farmers, fishers, and indigenous communities in various roles, including community organizer, researcher, and consultant.
